In a recent development, the Smiths Falls Police Department say officers successfully retrieved 15 stolen hockey sticks following an incident where two youths were captured on video pilfering from change rooms over the weekend. The perpetrators have been identified by law enforcement.

While only six of the stolen sticks were reported to the police, the recovery of the additional sticks has prompted an outreach to the community. Sergeant Brent Pellett urges concerned parents whose children may be missing a hockey stick to reach out directly to their office. He can be contacted via phone at 613-283-0357 ext 0 or through email at bpellett@sfps.ca. Residents are encouraged to leave a message for Sgt. Pellett if unable to reach him immediately.
