The latest gathering of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital board marked the arrival of four fresh faces onto its Board of Directors during the October meeting.

During late summer, the hospital actively sought out new members, attracting robust interest during the recruitment phase. Scott Anderson, Rob Dyke, Jamie Church, and Steve Gauthier emerged as the chosen candidates from this process, each possessing a distinct skill set and expertise that will enrich the hospital’s board discussions.

Dr. Warren Hollis, the Chair, expressed enthusiasm about these additions, especially given the transformative phase in the healthcare system. “We’re excited to have new perspectives on the Board, particularly during this period of significant change,” Dr. Hollis remarked.

These four individuals made their debut at the Hospital Board of Directors meeting on October 24. Their official orientation concluded on Nov. 3.
