The Town of Carleton Place is pleased to announce Fred Eaglesmith will be returning to Carleton Place to perform at the historic Town Hall auditorium on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

Ontario native Fred Eaglesmith is a successful musician with 40 years of performing and 20+ albums within his repertoire. Perhaps best known for his single Trucker Speed, Eaglesmith has toured towns and cities across the continent, singing about vehicles, rural life, down-and-out characters, lost love, and quirky rural folk. In doing so, he has earned international accolades, gold records, a spot on David Letterman, and songs covered by recording stars such as Miranda Lambert, Allan Jackson and Toby Keith.

Tickets are available online through www.ticketsplease.ca for $50 plus fees. With a limited capacity of 190 attendees, fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early to avoid disappointment. Tickets are general admission, with doors opening at 7 p.m. for a show start time of 7:30 p.m.

“We are really looking forward to welcoming Fred back to Carleton Place,” says Jessica Hansen, Community Programmer. “The historic Town Hall Auditorium is a gorgeous venue with amazing acoustics, and we know our patrons are going to have a truly memorable experience.”

Located at 175 Bridge Street, the Town Hall Auditorium has most recently become the venue for some notable live music performances. Thanks to a partnership with the Festival of Small Halls; the Devin Cuddy Band and Ron Sexsmith took the stage to sold out crowds in October and December respectfully. The Town of Carleton Place looks forward to continuing to bring exciting live entertainment to the Town Hall Auditorium in 2024.
