New LGL health unit site to open in Kemptville March 18

Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit

The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit announced that its new service delivery site at the Kemptville Campus will open on March 18.

Located at 80 Shaver Crescent within the Kemptville Campus, the new site will operate from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a brief closure from noon to 1 p.m. The contact number remains the same at 613-258-5941. Visitors are asked to enter from Concession Road onto Campus Drive and follow the signs, with free parking available in Lot P4.

Peter McKenna, Chair of the Board of Health, expressed gratitude for the public’s patience during the delays.

“We look forward to providing services to the residents of the area in this new location,” McKenna stated in a media release.

Until the opening of the new site on March 18, temporary access to Public Health Services in Kemptville and surrounding areas is available as follows:

  • Immunization Clinic: Clients can book online or call 1-800-660-5853.
  • Sexual Health Clinic: Appointments can be made by calling 1-800-660-5853, with alternative locations provided.
  • Infant Feeding Clinic: Scheduled every Wednesday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. Appointments can be arranged by calling 1-800-660-5853 extension 2467.
  • Preschool Speech and Language Services: By appointment, individuals can contact their Speech Language Pathologist or Communications Disorders Assistant, or call 1-888-503-8885.
