Lanark OPP report that they are continuing an investigation in Mississippi Mills after a barricaded person threatened to harm himself and two others at a residence near Pakenham.

On March 15, at about 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a home on the Fourth Concession of Pakenham; police say an individual contacted the OPP Communications Centre after making threats to harm himself and two other people in the residence.

The other individuals were able to leave the residence unharmed.

The individual surrendered to officers Saturday morning without further incident and was taken into custody.
