Lanark OPP charge resident with multiple counts of criminal harassment, uttering threats

A Drummond/North Elmsley Township resident is facing multiple harassment charges following a lengthy investigation by Lanark OPP.

In a media release, police explain that an individual contacted Lanark OPP in February to report incidents that they said had begun in late December, 2023. The incidents are alleged to have continued up to April 8, 2024.

On April 8, 2024, Kurtis St. Pierre, age 36, was arrested and charged with:

  • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm – two counts
  • Criminal Harassment- threatening conduct – three counts

Charges have not been proven in court.

The accused was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on May 6, 2024.
