Cyclists invited to enter photo contest

Cyclists in the Leeds & Lanark area have a few more days left to submit their best picture for the Cycle More (Mississippi & Ottawa Rivers Experience) social media photo contest. Don’t wait to get out that camera because the contest will close on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
As previously reported by Lanarkist, https://hometownist.com/new-cycle-route-encourages-lanark-county-residents-tourists-to-cyclemore/The Mississippi & Ottawa Rivers Experience is a 180km cycle loop created by long-time cycle enthusiasts Chris George and Jeff Mills.
The route is designed for cycle tourists and local riders of all ages and experiences to enjoy, taking them through the scenic locations of Carleton Place, Almonte, Carp, Ottawa and more. The inaugural ride for this new route took place last week on Saturday, June 29th, 2024.
Now, organizers hope to bring more attention to their new route with this social media photo contest. To participate, CycleMore is asking riders to do these three things:
1) Follow the cycle MORE Facebook and/orInstagram pages https://m.facebook.com/cycleMOREroute?wtsid=rdr_0sgjm5KQ74Wjbrmz2
2) Share photos on the route in your story or feed with the phrase “I #cycleMOREroute” as well as hashtagging your location (i.e. #ParliamentHill, #Almonte, #TransCanadaTrail)
3) Share the post with three of your friends.
The winner of the social media photo contest will win a $50 cash and $50 gift certificate, courtesy of Hummingbird Chocolate in Almonte, Ontario.
