Bridge Street Summerfest returns to Carleton Place this Saturday

Looking for something to do this weekend?
Carleton Place will be the place to be on Saturday, July 27, as Bridge Street Summerfest returns to town. The fun starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m.
“This exciting street market festival fills Bridge Street with shopping, food, and entertainment,” states a media release from the municipality.
“Our goal is to create an unforgettable experience with continuous performances from incredible entertainers like Edward the Juggler, fan-favorite Scott Jackson (Champion BeatBoxer) making a triumphant return, Kobbler Jay, the Lucky Barber, local musicians Cait Porteous and Amber Humby, and strolling characters.”
Folks can expect a wide-range of activities such as free face painting, balloon twisting photo ops and more.
The town is also giving out complimentary gifts to 250 lucky attendees.
“The forecast is looking great, and we remind everyone to dress for the weather and bring water,” the release says.
