Two Carleton Place construction construction areas to be aware of over the coming week

The Town of Carleton Place has advised of two upcoming construction projects that will affect traffic and parking.

Ramsay Street, St Paul Street, Wilson Street, and Donald Street

Depending on the weather, crews will be mobilizing to lay base course asphalt next week. Residents will be advised by Cavanagh Construction when access to driveways will be impacted. It is vital that residents cooperate will crews to ensure residents have access to their vehicles and the street.

Nelson Street West

The Town would like to advise residents that Cavanagh Construction will begin testing the new watermain in the coming days.

The Town of Carleton Place would like to ensure everyone’s safety and encourage residents, when possible, to avoid these active construction areas. Residents must follow posted signage, and the directions provided by traffic control personnel when they are present.
