Tree planting to temporarily close westbound lane of Foster Street in Perth

The Town of Perth will be planting two trees on Foster Street, leading to temporary closures and traffic disruptions.
From Oct. 1 to 4, the westbound lane of Foster Street between Gore Street and Wilson Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.
Westbound traffic will be detoured to North Street from Gore Street during the closure. Parking on the north side of Foster Street will be unavailable while the work is underway, but parking will remain open on the south side of the street. The Wilson Street parking lot, with pedestrian access to Foster Street, will also be available, along with other designated parking spaces within the BIA.
Access to businesses and apartment entrances will not be affected, and pedestrian traffic will be maintained on sidewalks around the work area. Traffic and parking will be restored daily by 3:30 p.m.
For more information, residents can contact the Town of Perth directly.
