Tree planting to disrupt traffic, parking in Perth Oct. 8 – 9

Two new trees are coming to Perth’s Foster Street, and traffic and parking will be impacted in the area on Oct. 8 and 9 as a result.
A message from the town says that the westbound lane of Foster Street between Gore and Wilson Streets will be fully closed to westbound from 7 a.m.to 3:30 p.m. daily from Oct. 8 to 9 to accommodate the work. Parking will not be accessible on the north side of Foster Street while the closure is in place.
The town says access to all businesses and apartment entrances will remain, as will pedestrian traffic spaces on sidewalks around the work area.
Traffic and parking will be restored by 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 8 and 9.
Parking will be available on the south side of Foster Street. Alternatively, parking is available in the Wilson Street lot (which has pedestrian access to Foster Street), as well as at all designated parking stalls in the BIA.
