Portion of Rogers Road in Perth closed Oct. 17 and 18 for Cockburn Street reconstruction

The Town of Perth says a portion of Rogers Road will be closed on Thursday and Friday of this week.

The road will be closed beginning the morning of Thursday, Oct. 17, and is tentatively scheduled to re-open on the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 18. The closure will be in place as part of the reconstruction activities on Cockburn Street, conducted by Campbell’s Trucking.

Detours will be in place to direct vehicles and pedestrians around the work area. Residents are asked to avoid the work area when possible and to plan their routes accordingly.

Cockburn Street will remain closed except to local traffic only for the duration of the reconstruction project.
