How can Lower Reach Park better serve the Smiths Falls community? The town wants to hear from residents

The Town of Smiths Falls wants your input on the future of Lower Reach Park.
“Our goal is to create a park that reflects the needs and desires of the Smiths Falls community,” said Director of Community Services Stephanie Clark in a statement.
Residents are invited to share their ideas as to how the space can better serve their community, either through an online survey or by attending an in-person workshop next week. The survey will be open for responses until Thursday, Nov. 10.
In in-person community workshop will take place on Monday, Nov. 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Smiths Falls Community Centre. This workshop will provide an open space for residents to share their ideas directly with town representatives and engage in collaborative discussions with fellow community members. Light refreshments will be provided.
“Lower Reach Park is a special place for residents and visitors alike, and this consultation is a chance for everyone to help shape its future,” Clark said. “The insights gathered from the survey and workshop will play a vital role in guiding the development plans for Lower Reach Park, ensuring that the town’s vision aligns with the community’s priorities.”
