Smiths Falls to hold holiday home decorating contest

The Town of Smiths Falls is inviting residents to channel their inner Clark Griswold this holiday season.

Show off your legendary holiday decorating skills and sign up today for the Smiths Falls Holiday Glow-Off home decorating contest. As part of The Town’s Celebration of Lights holiday campaign, residents can register their address, and/or tour the town to check out all the wonderful, festive homes. Then, they can go online and vote for their favourites.

Participants can register between Nov. 6 and Dec. 1 by visiting the link above. They’ll have until Dec. 8 to finish decorating. Voting will then open to the public on Dec. 9, and will close on Dec. 18. Prize packages from local businesses will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place recipients, as voted on by the public. Winners will be announced on social media and contacted on Dec. 20.
