Where are the best decorated homes in Smiths Falls? Winners announced for Holiday Glow-Off

Smiths Falls residents have spoken, and the results are in for the Holiday Glow-Off Home Decorating Contest.

In November, Smiths Falls area residents were invited to register their homes for the decorating contest, tour the town to check out the festive homes, and vote for their top three choices.

Seven households had entered by the time the contest entries closed on Dec. 1, and participants were given until Dec. 8 to finish decorating. Voting then took place from Dec. 9 to 18.

“We are hoping to continue to grow and build on this tradition each year, bringing together the community and showcasing the beauty our town has to offer during the holidays!” said the town’s Manager of Economic Development and Tourism, Julia Crowder.

The votes have been counted and the winners are as follows:
#1 – 166 Brockville Street (Prize: $100 gift card to Valley Custom Cutting)
#2 – 43 Whitcomb Crescent (Prize: $75 gift card to Boston Pizza)
#3 – 16 Ross Street (Prize: $50 gift card to The Station Country Kitchen & Eatery)
