‘Expect delays’: Portion of Highway 15 closed after serious collision

Leeds OPP say that a section of Highway 15 near County Road 42 in Rideau Lakes Township is currently closed after a two-vehicle collision.

“One person has sustained critical injuries and was transported to a regional trauma centre by [paramedics],” police state in a social media post.

The intersection will remain closed until Leeds members, OPP Collision Reconstructionists, and Technical Traffic Collision Investigators complete their investigation.

“Expect delays and follow detours,” police say. “Adapt your driving to changing weather conditions.”
