Residents of Perth will have the chance to learn more about the town’s growth and planning processes at a Public Information Centre (PIC) scheduled for Thursday, June 12.

The Town of Perth announced the education session in a public notice issued on Wednesday, May 28. This is an opportunity to provide residents with a deeper understanding of local development, including the Lanark County Growth Study, Provincial Policy, the planning review process, and the status of current development applications in the town. Information on available lands and approved projects will also be covered.

“This session is intended to inform and engage the community on how development is guided and approved in Perth,” said the town.

The session will be held at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at Town Hall, located at 80 Gore Street East. Following the event, the presentation will be posted on the town’s website for those unable to attend to review.
