Motorists and commuters in Almonte should prepare to accomodate for traffic disruptions next week as road and infrastructure construction resumes at a busy town intersection.

Starting Monday, June 9, Thomas Cavanagh Construction crews will be active at the intersection of Paterson Street and Robert Hill Street, with work expected to continue throughout the week. The ongoing project is part of ongoing infrastructure improvements aimed at enhancing road safety and traffic flow in the area.

During the period of construction, the northbound lane will be fully closed to traffic. The Municipality of Mississippi Mills noted that warning signs and traffic cones will be in place to alert drivers, and flagging personnel will be onsite to guide vehicles throughout the work zone.

Residents and visitors are asked to drive with caution, follow all signage, and allow for extra travel time. The Municipality would like to thank the public for their patience and cooperation during the construction period.
