Mississippi River Health Alliance to host Annual General Meeting in Almonte

The Mississippi River Health Alliance (MRHA) is inviting the public to attend and engage with the region’s ongoing healthcare developments during the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Almonte General Hospital Cooperation and the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Cooperation.

This year’s annual meeting will be held next week on Tuesday, June 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the Octagon Room at Almonte General Hospital. Guests should use Entrance “H” at 75 Spring Street.

According to the MRHA, this year’s AGM will highlight key achievements and progress made across the Alliance’s four partner organizations: Almonte General Hospital, Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital, Fairview Manor, and the Lanark County Paramedic Service.

John Jordan, MPP for Lanark–Frontenac–Kingston, will serve as the evening’s guest speaker.

The event will also feature updates from MRHA leadership, a review of the 2024–25 fiscal year, and a recognition of the contributions made by staff, volunteers, and community partners.
