On Thursday, July 17, the Town of Carleton Place is advised residents of several ongoing infrastructure projects that may cause delays or disruptions over the coming week. Officials note that weather, staffing and supply issues could affect the schedule.

McNeely Avenue – Sewer Upsizing Project
Overnight work is expected to begin next week as crews excavate at the intersection of McNeely Avenue and the entrance to the Independent Grocer. The project involves replacing the current sanitary sewer with a larger-diameter pipe. Work will begin on the east side of the intersection and move westward. Lane reductions will be in place, and the OPP will assist with traffic control. Electronic signage is in place to notify drivers.
