Bridge Street Summerfest returns to Downtown Carleton Place this Saturday
Downtown Carleton Place will be buzzing with summer fun this weekend as the Bridge Street Summerfest returns on Saturday, July 26, 2025 to transform the downtown core into a lively street festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Spanning from Bridge Street to Mill Street and Lake Avenue, the event has become a annual celebration of local culture, community, and small businesses, offering visitors a day of shopping, entertainment, and family fun.
“Many Bridge Street businesses will be stretching out onto the street with special displays, activities, and sidewalk sales—just one more reason to explore, connect, and shop local as part of this exciting community celebration, ” town officials said in a release.
Festival-goers can expect a large and diverse lineup of entertainment and showcases, including:
- Magician Michael Conway
- The Stunt Ventriloquist
- The Eyrie Birds of Prey demonstration
- Cordillera, a Northern Philippines Dance Group
- Live music from Amber Humby and Kentucky
Bridge Street will be closed to local traffic beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday to start preparing for the festival and market. Local shops will be extending their storefronts with sidewalk sales and interactive outdoor activities.
The Town would like to remind residents that overnight parking is not permitted on Bridge Street or in lots only accessible from Bridge Street, such as those along 92 Bridge Street.
