Overnight paving work on Ferguson Falls Road this week

Night paving work will begin this week on County Road 15 (Ferguson Falls Road) as Thomas Cavanagh Construction Company Ltd. prepares to resurface the stretch between Pine Grove Road and Highway 7, according to a release from the Town of Carleton Place.

The work, which began on Monday, July 28, is scheduled to take place overnight from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. until Thursday, July 31. Public Works Manager Sam Poole explained that the overnight schedule is intended to minimize daytime traffic disruptions.

“Motorists are reminded to exercise caution, follow signage and flagging personnel, and expect minor delays,” stated Poole, noting that one lane will remain open during the work, and a pilot vehicle will be used to guide motorists safely through the construction area.
