Three Mississippi Mills roads set for surface treatment starting today

Road work is set to begin today, Wednesday, Aug. 13, in Mississippi Mills on three municipal roads.

Surface treatment will be carried out on:

• Argyle Street between Country Street and St. George Street
• Pick Road between Ramsay Concession 8 and County Road 29
• Ramsay Concession 8 from County Road 29 to the municipal limit

The work will include pulverizing and grading the existing road surface and adding new granular material. It is in preparation for asphalt paving later this fall.

The municipality says efforts will be made to minimize disruptions during construction.
