Almonte’s Gemmill Park Track closing for repairs Sept. 15–19

The Gemmill Park Track will be closed to the public from Sept. 15 to 19 for restoration work aimed at improving safety and appearance.

The project includes removing deteriorated concrete, adding fresh gravel to the track and landscaping around the area.

The municipality says large gatherings on or around the track will not be permitted until Oct. 1 to allow the new landscaping to take root.
