Lanark County OPP say officers stopped a vehicle on Dufferin Street just before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16.

The driver was arrested and taken to the OPP detachment in Perth for testing.

As a result, Albert Meeks, 62, has been charged with operating a vehicle while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams. This charge has not been proven in court.

He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, Nov. 3.
