Downtown Carleton Place to host daytime Halloween trick-or-treat event

Little ghosts and goblins are invited to get dressed up and take over the downtown streets this Halloween morning as Downtown Carleton Place businesses open their doors for a special daytime trick-or-treat event.

Local families are invited to dress up, bring their goody bags, and enjoy a fun and safe daytime Halloween outing on Friday, October 31, from 10 a.m. to 12pm.

According to organizers, participating shops and restaurants along the main streets of downtown Carleton Place will be marked with orange and black balloons, welcoming children to come collect treats and enjoy festive fun.

Town officials say the event is a great way to celebrate Halloween with the rest of the community, all while supporting local businesses.
