Nominations now open for 2025 Carleton Place Citizen of the Year

The Town of Carleton Place is calling on residents to help recognize the community’s most dedicated volunteers by submitting nominations for the 2025 Citizen of the Year Award.

The annual nomination process celebrates individuals who have made outstanding contributions to community life — through volunteering, leadership, and a demonstrated commitment to making Carleton Place a better place to live for all.

Nomination forms are available in hard copy at the Carleton Place Arena at 75 Neelin Street or as a fillable PDF on the Town’s website. Completed nominations — along with any supporting materials — must be submitted no later than Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, at noon.

All nomination packages should be placed in a sealed, confidential envelope addressed to the Carleton Place Citizen of the Year Committee, c/o Bobbi McCann, 175 Bridge Street, Carleton Place, ON, K7C 2V8, or sent confidentially by email to bmccann@carletonplace.ca.

According to the town, only nominations submitted through these confidential channels will be considered. For more information or to download the nomination form, visit www.carletonplace.ca.
