Perth man facing mischief and compliance charges after late night incident

Lanark County OPP have charged a Perth man after an intimate partner violence investigation.

Officers were called to a disturbance outside a home in Perth on Nov. 29, 2025, shortly after 10:30 p.m. Police say an OPP canine unit also assisted at the scene.

A 60-year-old man from Perth has been charged with two counts of mischief for destroying or damaging property, along with three counts of failing to comply with a release order.

He was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Perth at a later date.

Police are not releasing the accused’s name to protect the identity of the victim.
