It’s almost time to bundle up and make the most of what winter has to offer in Downtown Perth.

Perth Tourism is inviting residents and visitors to head downtown for the return of the Frost & Fire Winter Festival on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, during Family Day weekend.

The daylong festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features a range of indoor and outdoor activities for all ages, taking place throughout the downtown area.

A media release from Perth Tourism says that the ever-popular tubing run will once again be set up downtown, alongside outdoor laser tag. Weather permitting, outdoor skating and sledding will also be available.

Inside the Perth Museum, visitors can take part in craft activities, while warming stations will be located both indoors and outdoors.

The Vendor Marketplace at the Crystal Palace will feature handmade items, local food and goods from area artisans. Festival-goers are also encouraged to visit downtown shops, cafés and restaurants, many of which will be open throughout the day.

Additional events are planned throughout the weekend. PEP Trivia Night takes place Friday, Feb. 13, at the Crystal Palace. On Sunday, Feb. 15, The Table Community Food Centre will host the second Perth Multicultural Food Fair, also at the Crystal Palace.
