Carleton Place pool temporarily closing this week for equipment repairs

Swimmers in Carleton Place will need to make alternate plans for a few days as the local pool temporarily closes for maintenance later this week.

According to town officials, the Carleton Place pool will be closed from Wednesday, Feb. 25 through Friday, Feb. 27, 2026 to allow for equipment repairs, affecting both the main pool and the hot pool.

Town officials confirmed the facility is expected to reopen Friday, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. for a special sponsored youth swim sponsored by Corcann. The swim is open to youth ages 12 to 17.

Participants are required to pre-book their spot in advance by calling the pool directly at 613-257-1005.

Regular programming is expected to resume following the Friday evening reopening swim.
