Starting June 29, 2026, BGC South East will once again offer fun, engaging, and educational summer camps for children and youth across the region. Camps will run weekly until August 21 for ages 4 to 15 at locations in Kingston, Loyalist, Napanee, Brockville, and Kemptville.
Camps run Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and each week features exciting themes designed to spark imagination and keep campers active. From travelling through time in Time Travellers, and solving mysteries during Who Dunnit?, to challenging friends in Game Show Mania, and finishing the summer with Choose Your Own Adventure, every week offers something new.

In addition to recreation camps, BGC South East offers a variety of specialized camps, including STEM, literacy, sports, and creative arts. STEM programs give campers the chance to explore robotics, coding, engineering, and science through hands-on activities such as building robots with LEGO SPIKE Prime, designing amusement park rides, experimenting with the forces of nature, and exploring topics like space exploration and ocean discovery.
Literacy camps combine the development of reading and writing skills with physical activity and play-based learning. Using structured literacy approaches and hands-on projects, campers build confidence in reading, comprehension, and communication while enjoying sports, games, and outdoor activities throughout the day.

Kingston and Loyalist campers will also enjoy a weekly swimming adventure at the West End Community Centre. All programs are delivered by trained staff following HIGH-FIVE standards to ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive environment. Families attending camps at the West End Community Centre and Hughson Childcare Centre in Kingston also have the option to purchase a lunch add-on, making it even easier for campers to stay fueled up for a day of activities.

Testimonials from parents speak for themselves:
“As a parent, I appreciated how organized everything was; pick-up and drop-off ran so smoothly and stress-free. The care, energy, and dedication of your team was evident every day. My 9-year old daughter quickly formed meaningful connections with the staff and made new friendships each week. We saw her confidence boost and noticed a huge improvement in swimming skills and confidence in the water.” – Parent of a camper
“The program has the most amazing staff. Usually when my son does something new, he’s very anxious and often needs coping mechanisms to calm down after, but your program adapts to his needs so easily that the only thing he needs when he gets home is a nap, because he’s exhausted from all the excitement!” – Happy Parent
Registration opens Monday, Mar. 23, 2026, at 8 a.m. Families are encouraged to complete required forms in advance to save time when registration opens. Forms can be completed online here.
