Almonte Night Market returns April 30 to kick off spring season

Residents and visitors in Almonte are being invited to grab their shopping bags, get outdoors, and enjoy the community’s first night market of the year will take over Mill Street this evening.

The popular seasonal event, organized by Destination Almonte, will run from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026, transforming the downtown core into a hub of shopping, music, and entertainment.

“There is truly no better way to kick off the spring season than by heading down to Mill Street to connect with neighbours, catch up with favourite merchants, and maybe discover a new local gem,” Said Mayor Christa Lowry in a social media post earlier today.

The market will feature a wide variety of vendors and attractions, including dozens of local artisans, handcrafted goods, tarot readers, live performers, and culinary offerings.

Luckily, weather conditions are expected to cooperate, with earlier rain expected to clear in time for the evening event, leaving only clear skies for what organizers hope will be a successful kickoff to the market season.
