Teen charged with multiple counts of assault against family members in Mississippi Mills home
Lanark OPP have charged a 17-year-old following a reported assault involving family members in Mississippi Mills.
Officers responded to a residence on Thursday, May 14 after receiving a complaint that family members had been assaulted inside the home.
Following an investigation, the youth was charged with:
- two counts of assault causing bodily harm
- two counts of assault
- two counts of assault with a weapon
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Youth Justice Court at a later date.
Police say they will not release the name of the accused due to provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
