Motorcycle driver dies after single vehicle collision in Lanark Highlands
A single vehicle motorcycle collision that took place in Lanark Highlands earlier this week has resulted in a fatality.
Lanark OPP report that on just after 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, officers responded to a collision on Wolf Grove Road between Gibson Road and the 8th Concession B Lanark.
As a result of the collision, the sole rider of the motorcycle, a 73-year-old male from Lanark Highlands Township was transported by Air Ornge to an area trauma hospital in critical condition and has since died of his injuries.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing, with the assistance the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionist.
