Craft beer lovers can once again raise a glass along the Mississippi River as the Almonte Craft Beer Fest returns this weekend for an evening of local brews, food and live music.

The popular summer event will take place on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. on the grounds of Almonte Old Town Hall, bringing together some of Eastern Ontario’s top craft beverage producers in one place.

According to a release issued today from the Municipality of Mississippi Mills, this year’s festival will feature seven craft breweries, along with a local distillery, a winery and, for the first time, a non-alcoholic beverage vendor, offering a wide variety of locally produced options for all.

Among the participating breweries this year is Base Camp Brewing Company, Cartwright Springs Brewery, Braumeister Brewing Co., Cold Bear Brewing Co., Perth Brewery, and Ridge Rock Brewing Co.

Festivalgoers will also have the opportunity to sample handcrafted cider from Farmgate Cider, a family-owned orchard or sip on cream liqueurs from VODKOW – Dairy Distillery, which has earned national attention for transforming a dairy byproduct into vodka. There will also be wines on offer from Three Dog Winery.

A new addition to the festival this year is The Sip Stand, a mobile pop-up bar serving refreshing alcohol-free mocktails, providing sober-living individuals or designated drivers an opportunity to enjoy creative handcrafted beverages along with everyone else.

Food will once again play a starring role throughout the evening, with several local vendors serving festival favourites, including Almonte Butcher Shop, Nicky T’s, Angry Dragonz, André, and Hummingbird Chocolate Maker.

Municipal officials confirmed the event will take place rain or shine and is intended for ages 19 and older with valid government-issued photo identification required for entry.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the festival running until 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 (plus HST and applicable fees) and can be purchased online through Tickets Please.

More information, including ticket details and the full festival lineup, is available on the Municipality of Mississippi Mills’ Almonte Craft Beer Fest webpage.
