Free ‘Jurassic World: Rebirth’ screening this weekend at Carleton Place’s Movies in the Park event

Movie lovers in the community can enjoy a free film under the stars this weekend as the Town of Carleton Place continues its Movies in the Park series with a screening of Jurassic World: Rebirth.

The Movies in the Park series has become a popular summer tradition in Carleton Place, encouraging the community to get together for multiple outdoor movie screenings throughout the season.

This weekend’s screening will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Carleton Junction, with the film beginning at 8:40 p.m.

Presented by the Town of Carleton Place and sponsored by Bean Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette, the screening is free to attend for any and all residents. All guests have to do is bring their own lawn chair or blanket to sit back and relax.

Snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase from the Civitan Canteen, however, guests are also able to bring their own food and drinks.
