Three additional sexual assault charges have been laid against a Stittsville resident after alleged incidents that took place between January and July of this year at a business in Beckwith Township.

Lanark OPP initially reported one sexual assault charge against Jeremy Finn, 53, on Aug. 5, 2026, following allegations of a sexual assault that took place in April.

Police say the investigation began on July 11 of this year.

The investigation continued, and on Wednesday, Aug. 19, OPP said in a media release that Finn was re-arrested and charged with three additional counts of sexual assault.

Charges have not been proven in court.

In response to inquiries from Lanarkist, PC Corey Noonan confirmed that “the new charges are for additional victims for offences taking place between January and July of 2026.”

The victims were customers of the business, Noonan said.

The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) also confirmed that it is investigating Jeremy Edward Finn, “as this individual was charged with one count of sexual assault by the Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police.”

As a result, Finn is not permitted to practise massage therapy in Ontario, the College said.

According to their website, Finn first registered as a massage therapist in July of 2000. In December 2021, the College required him to complete “education/remediation” after a complaint was filed. He then received a six-month suspension in January 2023 for “findings of professional misconduct.”

“Within six (6) months of January 16, 2023, Mr. Finn must provide proof, acceptable to the Registrar, of successful completion of an individualized course, pre-approved by the Registrar, relating to maintaining professional boundaries, which is to be taken at his own expense,” a Jan. 16, 2023 report reads.

In addition, “Mr. Finn must pay the College costs in the amount of $3,475.00 within 90 days of January 16, 2023.”

After the additional charges were laid in August 2026, the accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on a later date.

Police say the Lanark County Crime Unit is assisting with the investigation.
