Local food, agriculture and community will take centre stage this weekend as the annual Lanark County Harvest Festival returns to Beckwith Township.

Residents and visitors are invited to stop by the popular local festival on Sunday, September 13, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Beckwith Park. The event is open to the public and admission is free.

According to a release from Lanark County on Wednesday, Sept. 9, the Harvest Festival is one of Lanark County’s signature fall events, bringing together local farmers, food producers, artisans and community organizations for a day dedicated to showcasing the region’s agricultural heritage and rural traditions.

Visitors can browse homemade products from local vendors, meet the farmers and producers behind the food, enjoy cooking demonstrations, food-focused exhibits and family-friendly activities throughout the day such as horse-drawn wagon rides, bouncy castles, a petting zoo, and more.

The festival also provides an opportunity for local producers to connect directly with customers to highlight the importance of supporting sustainable agriculture and food-based businesses across Lanark County, according to county officials.
