Carleton Place launches new puzzle celebrating local landmarks

A new puzzle featuring some of Carleton Place’s most recognizable landmarks has arrived at the Carleton Place Information Centre Gift Shop, and the first batch is already nearly sold out.
According to an update provided the Town of Carleton Place on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, the first order has been very popular, with only one puzzle remaining at the Information Centre. The Town said they are already planning another order and accepting pre-orders for the next batch.
As previously reported, the one-of-a-kind puzzle design was created by artist Daniel Krecklewich and showcases iconic Carleton Place landmarks and destinations. According to Ruby MacMillan, Tourism Development Coordinator with the Carleton Place & District Chamber of Commerce, the design was created and refined through a collaborative process between Jackie Kavanagh and Brigitte Gall of The Occurrence.
The puzzle is available in the following two sizes: 504 pieces for $29 (plus HST) and 1,008 pieces for $33 (plus HST.)
“It’s a great choice for puzzle lovers, a unique keepsake, and an incredibly easy gift,” emphasized town officials.
Residents can stop by the Information Centre to check for the remaining puzzle or email tourism@cpchamber.com to be added to the next pre-order list.
