Temporary closure of Five-Span Bridge Park for paving work

Five-Span Bridge Park in Almonte will be temporarily closed today, Thursday, October 1, and Friday, October 2, 2026 to allow for paving work to be completed as part of the Five-Span Bridge Rehabilitation Project.

In a release issued on Wednesday, Sept. 30, Lanark County advised residents of Mississippi Mills that the closure is required for the final phase of paving work associated with the ongoing rehabilitation project.

Advance notice signs have been installed at the intersection of County Road 29 and Kinburn Side Road to alert residents and visitors to the temporary closure.

The park should be reopened to the public on Saturday.
