OPP charge man with threats, voyeurism and weapons offences in Lanark County

Lanark County OPP have laid charges following an intimate partner violence investigation in Montague Township.

On Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, just before 5:30 p.m., officers responded to a call at a township address.

A 40-year-old resident has been charged with uttering threats, transmitting an intimate image without consent, voyeurism, and three counts of careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Sept. 22, 2025.

Police said the name of the accused will not be released in order to protect the identity of the victim.
